Founder & Curator

Edinburgh Village Studio is a small, considered project by Chris Bland, who previously built and sold Monkey Media, and now invests in a range of projects and businesses.

Having run a business from shared offices himself, Chris designed the space around what he wished had existed. It’s shaped by a practical understanding of how people actually work day to day.

Chris leans toward a “get rich slow” philosophy: steady work, clear thinking, and decisions that hold up over time — reflected in details like a shared library of practical business books.

The result is a space designed to support focused work, thoughtful conversations, and businesses built to last.
